Well, we made our goal for the first night. Unfortunately, no time for a blog posting except to say that of all 280+ nights I have spent on the road, this was by far the worst. Details to follow. I expected the first night to be bad while I shake down things, but this one was just awful.
On to Wells State Park in Mass. Maybe things will improve.
